The fee spread
The published headline (gross / pre-scholarship) tuition range for international undergraduates in North Cyprus runs from €2,700/year (European Leadership University) at the bottom to $22,200/year at the top (Final International University, Dentistry). After each university’s standard international scholarship tier applies, the effective range narrows to roughly €1,350–$11,100/year.
Three superlatives
- Largest: Near East University with 27,000 students. Smallest: Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus with 3,150. The biggest TRNC university is roughly 9× the size of the smallest.
- Oldest: Eastern Mediterranean University (founded 1979). Newest: Final International University (founded 2018). Five of the 11 active universities were founded after 2010, all private.
- Most internationally accredited: Eastern Mediterranean University with 21 accreditation listings on file, spanning institutional, engineering, medical, pharmacy, business, architecture and teacher-education frameworks.
Methodology
Numbers are computed from UniNorth’s verified dataset, last re-checked against each university’s own published fee and accreditation pages on a 14-day cadence. “International tuition” uses each university’s headline annual fee for international undergraduate students after any standard institutional scholarship; per-course graduate rates are excluded from rankings to keep the comparison apples-to-apples.
