UniNorth doesn’t generate facts. We aggregate what universities, accreditation bodies and government registries have themselves published. This page lists every primary source URL in one place, so anything on the site can be verified at its origin in one click. If a row anywhere on the site doesn’t match the source linked here, the source wins and we’ll fix it within 48 hours.
University sources
For each of the 11 YÖDAK-recognised universities, the primary published fee page and the primary published accreditations page. These are the URLs UniNorth re-fetches on a 14-day cadence; differences land in a human review queue before they ship.

Institutional recognition and diploma equivalence depend on these regulators. Always check the live register before committing to an application.
- YÖDAK — Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation & Coordination Council (TRNC)
The TRNC regulator. Lists every officially recognised university in Northern Cyprus and the year of recognition. Authoritative for institutional accreditation status in TRNC.
- YÖK — Council of Higher Education (Türkiye)
The Turkish national regulator. Recognises TRNC institutions for diploma equivalence in Türkiye and lists qualifying programs. Determines whether a TRNC degree counts towards Turkish licensure pathways.
- TRNC Ministry of National Education
Issues licensing approvals for higher education institutions operating on TRNC soil and recognises certain international accreditations.
Accreditation body registers
The bodies below have their own public registers of accredited programs. When a university self-attests an accreditation, the body’s own register is the canonical truth — UniNorth links to the body’s URL alongside the university’s self-attestation on every accreditation page.
