Regulates medical practice in Lebanon. Foreign-trained physicians must complete the Colloquium (Lebanese medical licensing exam) before registration with the Order. Degree equivalence is granted by the Directorate General of Higher Education first.

Lebanese graduates of TRNC universities work through a well-defined two-step process. The Directorate General of Higher Education (DGHE) under the Ministry of Education grants foreign-degree equivalence. Medical practitioners then register with the Lebanese Order of Physicians (LOP) after passing the Colloquium (Lebanese medical licensing exam). Engineers register with the Order of Engineers and Architects (OEA) — Beirut or Tripoli branch. Pharmacists register with the Order of Pharmacists of Lebanon. Lebanon's banking crisis post-2019 affects the practical logistics of paying tuition, not the recognition process itself.

Medicine

Near East University (NEU) holds WFME recognition for its Faculty of Medicine — relevant for Lebanese reviewers given the international portability. Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) holds ECFMG and TEPDAD accreditation. Girne American University (GAU) holds a WDOMS directory listing.

Engineering

Near East University (NEU) holds ENAEE and EUR-ACE labels for its Faculty of Engineering. Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus (METU NCC) both hold ABET accreditation. European University of Lefke (EUL) holds a EUR-ACE label. ABET and EUR-ACE are well-recognised by the Order of Engineers and Architects.

Pharmacy

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) holds ACPE accreditation. Cyprus International University (CIU) holds AHPGS accreditation.
